Landell Mills Ltd participated in the identification of a trade development and promotion project for Slovakia. The aim of the identification was to provide the Government with an outline for the most appropriate structure for the implementation of an export development programme in Slovakia. The identification comprised the following components:
- Evaluation of existing Export Development activities in Slovakia by both public and private bodies at national and regional level.
- Evaluation of the institutional structure for implementing Export Development. The assessment took into account existing structures and proposed appropriate institutions for the implementation at national and regional level.
- Preparation of programme outline included an export development strategy and operational plan and budget for the programme. The budget included sources of financing i.e. state budget, PHARE and other donors.
Terms of Reference for a possible PHARE Programme to support the Slovak export development were prepared.
