Food & Nutrition Security Policy Information Systems Monitoring/Evaluation Advisor

Landell Mills provides one long-term staff to assist the Government of Malawi. His task is to ensure partnership in the implementation of the Food and Nutrition Security Policy and cultivate inter-ministerial ownership of the policy and its M&E system.

The project purposes are to:

• Ensure availability of accurate information from the Food and Nutrition Security Policy M&E system for correct and timely decision making


• Support the different departments/institutions, in the implementation of the M&E system of the Food and Nutrition Security Policy


• Run the daily activities of the Food Security Joint Task Force Technical Secretariat

The target beneficiaries are predominantly the Ministries and non-state actors. The ultimate beneficiaries are the rural population of Malawi dependent on agriculture for their livelihood.
