KE1: TEAM LEADER (36 m/m)

  • Master in International Trade or Regional Economic Integration
  • In-depth knowledge of the SADC regional integration process, in particular the Trade Protocol, as well as the Cotonou Agreement (EPAs). Familiar with current WTO negotiations and Regional Economic Communities (RECs)
  • Initiative and ability to work in a team
  • Familiar with databases; in-depth computer literacy is an advantage
  • Fluent in English & Portuguese
  • Knowledge of or work experience in post-conflict countries is an advantage
  • At least 10 years of proven and relevant experience  in international economics, regional integration processes  and regional development, and trade negotiations
  • Experience in EU funded projects
  • Experience in the public sector



KE2: LOCAL EXPERT (36 m/m)

  • Licentiate in fields related to regional integration
  • In-depth knowledge of the SADC regional integration process, in particular the Trade Protocol, as well as the Cotonou Agreement (EPAs). Familiar with current WTO negotiations and Regional Economic Communities (RECs)
  • Initiative and ability to work in a team
  • Familiar with databases; in-depth computer literacy is an advantage
  • Fluent in English & Portuguese
  • Knowledge of functioning of the public sector
  • At least 5 years of proven and relevant experience  in international economics, regional integration processes  and regional development, and trade negotiations
  • Experience in the public sector
