KE1: TEAM LEADER (36 m/m)
- Master in International Trade or Regional Economic Integration
- In-depth knowledge of the SADC regional integration process, in particular the Trade Protocol, as well as the Cotonou Agreement (EPAs). Familiar with current WTO negotiations and Regional Economic Communities (RECs)
- Initiative and ability to work in a team
- Familiar with databases; in-depth computer literacy is an advantage
- Fluent in English & Portuguese
- Knowledge of or work experience in post-conflict countries is an advantage
- At least 10 years of proven and relevant experience in international economics, regional integration processes and regional development, and trade negotiations
- Experience in EU funded projects
- Experience in the public sector
KE2: LOCAL EXPERT (36 m/m)
- Licentiate in fields related to regional integration
- In-depth knowledge of the SADC regional integration process, in particular the Trade Protocol, as well as the Cotonou Agreement (EPAs). Familiar with current WTO negotiations and Regional Economic Communities (RECs)
- Initiative and ability to work in a team
- Familiar with databases; in-depth computer literacy is an advantage
- Fluent in English & Portuguese
- Knowledge of functioning of the public sector
- At least 5 years of proven and relevant experience in international economics, regional integration processes and regional development, and trade negotiations
- Experience in the public sector
