Intern – Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nutrition (AFN) Division
We are seeking to recruit an intern for the 2024-25 academic year to support the company’s Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nutrition (AFN) Division. Examples of our work in the AFN sectors can be found on our website. Current contracts include design of an agricultural value chain project in Lao PDR, support to help smallholder farmers increase the quantity and quality of coffee crops to link into global supply chains, and an aquaculture commercialisation project in Eastern Africa.
The successful applicant will be an undergraduate studying a relevant course in the themes of agriculture, rural development, international relations, economics, wider social sciences, or other areas of relevance to the AFN division. You will have a general interest in international development or international affairs, with a particular interest in rural and/or agricultural development.

The position is based in Trowbridge in Wiltshire, with the option to also work from home for part of the week (as per our hybrid working culture), and from the Bristol satellite office. The UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath is a 20-minute train ride away from Trowbridge, and Bristol, the 2015 European Green Capital, is 40 minutes away.
