Call for experts in agricultural financing

Landell Mills is calling for experts in agricultural financing for the preparation of programmes to support the implementation of loan operations in agri-food value chains. The loan will provide longer term finance to support investments by final beneficiaries (SMEs, including agricultural cooperatives and MidCaps) in the target horticulture (including nuts) and wine value chains. Key private sector gaps in investment that are anticipated to be addressed by the loan finance include orchard and vineyards and investments in processing, post-harvest handling, packaging and cold storage infrastructure.

Previous experience of working in the Caucasus such as Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia, the Western Balkans, the Eastern Neighbourhood region or Turkey in agricultural financing or agribusiness is a considerable advantage. Additionally, experience of working on technical assistance projects funded by the European Investment Bank (EIB) or EU institutions is an asset.
