Call for experts: EU-Brunei Strategic Engagement Programme

About the project

The EU-Brunei Strategic Engagement Programme is part of the European Union (EU)’s wider commitment to enhancing its role as a global actor and strengthening partnerships in South-East Asia, with the overall objective of improving the EU’s role as a strategic partner in South-East Asia by deepening the EU-Brunei Darussalam relationship.

The project’s specific objective is to foster mutual awareness, understanding and appreciation between the EU and Brunei across key thematic areas, including environment, higher education, and security and defence. • Cultural and higher education events such as film screenings, exhibitions and European higher education fairs.
  • Webinars to promote Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe opportunities.
  • A study visit to the EU for Bruneian journalists to build an understanding of EU institutions and media.
