Team Leader / Emissions Trading Systems Expert

Landell Mills is currently preparing a proposal for a 3-year contract on EU Support to Green Transition in Kazakhstan, and is seeking candidates for the role of Team Leader / Emissions Trading Systems Expert.

The expert will lead an interdisciplinary team to deliver the project, which will support Kazakhstan’s green transition by aligning its Emissions Trading System (ETS) with EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) requirements, helping ensure compliance and strengthen competitiveness. It will deliver in-depth sector analyses, policy recommendations and financial instrument support, while also building the capacities of government and industry stakeholders through targeted training and consultations. In addition, the project will produce a detailed Best Available Technique Reference (BREF) document for a selected technology, conduct technological audits of industrial facilities, and enhance digitalisation and efficiency in water resource management.
