Independent
We are an independently-minded, owner-managed company. This means that we don’t have to report to a large set of shareholders or a stock market focused purely on short-term gains.
Profitable
We are profit-driven, and we make no qualms about this. But, as we are in it for the long-term, this is never at the expense of doing good work and giving our clients value-for money.
Principled
We value integrity. For example, our procedures are certified to the ISO37001 anti-bribery standard; we were one of the first in the industry to meet this standard.
Pragmatic
We hate bureaucracy and having too many rules. If you work for us, you don’t need to worry about sitting through long unnecessary meetings, and where formal processes are required we try to make them as short and useful as possible!
Trusting
We trust our staff and encourage them take to responsibility. This means that we can solve problems quickly and take advantage of an opportunity without having to wait days to get a multitude of sign-offs on a decision.
Understanding
We appreciate that everyone has different expectations of their work with us, whether it is an eventual aim to be based in one of our project locations, to be an expert in a particular field or to rise within our management structure. Where possible (and we admit it not always is), we try to align the career objectives of our staff with the company’s goals.
