We’re pleased to have been awarded a new European Union (EU) contract in Pakistan. The project, titled Revival of Balochistan Water Resources Programme (RBWRP), began in June 2022 and will run until June 2026.
On 22 November 2022, the project was officially launched by Landell Mills and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Through our work on the contract, we’ll provide technical assistance including:
- strengthening governance of water resources and rangelands
- transformation of agricultural and livestock farming systems to lower water use, taking advantage of public-private partnerships, private sector service providers, and the use of digital technology
- reinforcing educational and research institutions to provide suitable training, with a particular emphasis on female participation
