Landell Mills supports series of European Union Business Forums in Cabo Verde, Ghana, Kenya and Zimbabwe

News 04.08.25 Markets, enterprise and trade

Across May and June 2025, Landell Mills supported a series of European Union Business Forums (EUBFs) in several African countries, particularly in Cabo Verde, Ghana, Kenya and Zimbabwe. These forums connected policymakers, business leaders and financial institutions for the purposes of collaboration, increased investments and job creation across both continents.

Landell Mills provided support for the business forums under our EU-Africa Business Forums (EABF) Facility contract, a primary objective of which is to support the European Union (EU) and private sector stakeholders in deepening trade and investment opportunities between Europe and Africa. The EABF Facility was established by the European Commission in 2024 and focuses on the following activities:

  • Supporting the organisation of the EABF in 2025 and 2028 on a continental level, as well as bilateral EUBFs, to strengthen business-to-government (B2G) and business-to-business (B2B) dialogue and promote structured engagement between public and private sector stakeholders.
  • Increasing capacity of EU and African business organisations, and strengthening linkages between business support organisations, through training, webinars and workshops.
  • Enhancing communication and knowledge-sharing through dialogues and outreach sessions.

To aid organisation of the bilateral EUBFs, Landell Mills provides several support services to EU Delegations (EUDs) in Africa. For example, we supported the EUBF in Zimbabwe by assisting with participant registrations; coordinating organic B2B matchmaking; and co-organising event sessions, including the business-to-finance speed-dating session in partnership with the Team Europe Initiative for Investing in Young Businesses in Africa.

You can find out more about the EUBFs in Cabo Verde, Ghana, Kenya and Zimbabwe, and related upcoming events, on the INTPA-EU-Africa Business Forum Platform.
