Landell Mills supports the launch of the Innov’ACTION Global Gateway competition in the Republic of Congo
This October, as part of our work with the Delegation of the European Union to Congo, the Landell Mills team has supported the launch of the Innov’ACTION Global Gateway competition, an exciting initiative for young Congolese entrepreneurs and innovators.
The competition aims to encourage entrepreneurship among young people and support the development of innovative solutions to sustainable development challenges. Projects are invited in four areas:
- Sustainable agriculture
- Renewable energy
- Environment
- Digital solutions linked to the three areas above
The competition is open to eligible Congolese applicants aged 18 to 35, with opportunities for projects at different stages of development. Three categories recognise this progression:
- Graine d’innovation (Seeds of Innovation) – for innovative projects at the idea stage, from initial concept through to a minimum viable product. This category is open to individuals as well as businesses less than two years old and/or projects in the pre-incubation phase.
- Jeune pousse (Young Start-up) – for more advanced projects approaching prototype stage, led by businesses in incubation that are working towards economic stability.
- Talent na biso – for innovative projects led by businesses in the acceleration phase of their development, including those looking to raise finance or establish partnerships with innovative technology and service providers.
Successful participants can receive financial awards of up to FCFA 4,500,000, alongside a tailored support programme including training and individual coaching.
The competition officially opened on 12 October 2026, and eligible applicants can submit their application here. Applications close at midnight on 15 November 2026.
