News 21.08.25 Congo, Republic of the Framework contracts

We’re pleased to share that Landell Mills’ Frameworks (FWC) division has recently been awarded a contract under Services for External Action (SEA) 2023 Lot 7 – Micro-Economic Analysis, Investment Climate, Private Sector, Trade and Employment.

The project, titled Contribute to the Implementation of the Global Gateway Strategy by Promoting Sustainable Development in the Private Sector and Supporting Entrepreneurship, is funded by the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to the Congo and will be implemented by Landell Mills through a team of five leading experts from July 2025-May 2027.

The EU's Global Gateway strategy – which promotes sustainable investment in infrastructure, energy, digital technology and human capital – will serve as the overall framework for this project. The project is also part of the EU's Youth Action Plan 2022-2027, which aims to mobilise and empower young people by involving them as strategic partners in development. The EU also recognises the crucial role of small and medium-sized enterprises in stimulating innovation and employment, and wants to equip young people with the skills and resources they need for the green and digital transitions.

The project will consist of two complementary components:

  1. The launch of a national competition, Innov’ACTION Global Gateway, to identify and support young innovative entrepreneurs.
  2. An in-depth study of the Congolese entrepreneurial ecosystem, including mapping support structures, identifying investment opportunities and analysing the financing ecosystem, with a view to future structural support.
