Landell Mills awarded contract under the UK Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions (PACT) Grant

We’re pleased to have been awarded a contract under the UK Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions (PACT) Grant, funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
The UK PACT Grant supports countries that strive to overcome barriers to clean growth, and have high emissions reduction potential, to accelerate their climate change mitigation efforts. Since 2021, £89 million of funding has been committed across 18 countries.
The contract, titled Developing a Structured Approach for Healthcare Electrification in Nigeria, aims to establish a scalable national framework that provides reliable, clean electricity to healthcare facilities, particularly in underserved areas.
By supporting key institutions such as the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) and the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHCDA), Landell Mills will deliver a range of activities under the project to ensure sustainable energy access in Nigeria, including:
- technical assistance.
- policy recommendations.
- development of investment strategies.
- capacity-building.
Renewable energy solutions, institutional strengthening and inclusive development will be prioritised under the contract; with expected outcomes including a National Healthcare Electrification Framework, investment mobilisation plans, and improved healthcare resilience aligned with Nigeria’s climate and development goals.
