Contract win for Landell Mills’ governance division

News 22.01.26 Governance

We’re pleased to share that Landell Mills’ governance (GOV) division has been awarded the EU Public Diplomacy Action for Multilateralism contract, funded by the European Commission’s service for Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI) as representatives for the European Union (EU). Landell Mills is implementing the 36-month contract alongside our partner, AETS.

Signed late November 2025, the EU Public Diplomacy Action for Multilateralism contract aims to advance the EU's foreign policy priorities by strengthening its presence and effectiveness in urgent and strategic areas of public diplomacy at the international level. Landell Mills is working closely with the EU FPI teams to facilitate joint work and initiatives between the Delegation of the European Union to the United Nations in New York, and the Delegation of the European Union to the UN and other international organisations in Geneva.

Under the contract, Landell Mills works to support the EU as a leader in multilateralism amid the changing landscape of global cooperation. A range of strategic public diplomacy activities are anticipated, with the aim of supporting the EU in influencing and championing the multilateral system. While a large part of the work will focus on the discreet strengthening of alignment, trust and cooperation at the international level, public-facing activities will include:

  • engagement and coordination with United Nations missions and regional blocs such as the African Union, the Group of Latin America and Caribbean Countries, and the Small Island Developing States
  • strategic diplomacy and coordination between international bodies
  • high-level retreats
  • events marking significant international milestones
